Former United Future Party (now People Power Party) lawmaker Min Kyung-wook, who was rushed to the hospital after collapsing while giving a lecture on election fraud, is expected to finalize a decision on surgery once his attending physician is assigned. 

According to Min's side, medical staff at Seoul National University Hospital conducted urgent diagnostic tests, including a CT scan, on the 14th, suspecting a possible stroke. Min has since been moved from the emergency room to a general ward, where he is reportedly resting. 

Kim Jin-il, a supreme council member of Freedom and Innovation, who heard the situation from two party members present at the scene, announced via social media early on the 15th that "Min received preliminary findings of suspected facial cerebral hemorrhage during the detailed examination."

"The medical team plans to first attempt to stop the bleeding through an endovascular procedure, but if the bleeding is not controlled, there is a possibility of switching to surgical intervention," Kim added. "He is highly likely to be moved to the intensive care unit for focused treatment depending on his progress."

Min's side has stated that they will limit specific information to protect the patient's privacy but expressed gratitude to those praying for his recovery.

Former United Future Party (now People Power Party) lawmaker Min Kyung-wook was rushed to the hospital after suddenly collapsing while giving a lecture on the afternoon of the 14th. 

Currently, the medical team has completed diagnostic tests under the suspicion of a stroke, and it is reported that surgery will be performed with the consent of his spouse. 

Min had collapsed suddenly while conducting a Q&A session after finishing a lecture titled "Election Fraud and the Christian Calling" at the Seoul Forum of the Coalition of Patriotic Leaders held at the Korea Christian Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Min received emergency care, including CPR, from attendees at the scene before being transported to Seoul National University Hospital by 119 emergency services. 

He had regained his breath by the time he was transported, but was reportedly still unconscious. 

Min Byeong-gon, chief of staff for Min, stated in a phone call with , "A CT scan was completed due to suspicion of a stroke, and he has been moved from the emergency room to a general ward," adding, "Min's spouse, who is also a doctor, is in communication with the medical team."
