The "ballot paper shortage" during the June 3 local elections was an act of constitutional destruction that shook the foundations of South Korean democracy and a clear case of fraudulent election.
The right to vote, the most sacred right of the sovereign people, was brutally trampled upon due to the incompetent administration and moral hazard of the National Election Commission (NEC), which has lost public trust since the introduction of early voting in 2014. Recent speeches by U.S. President Trump regarding election fraud have confirmed that the NEC's election rigging is also linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
Regarding the sovereign struggle that took place in front of the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Seoul after the June 3 incident, a total of 289 individuals are currently being booked and investigated by the police.
Characterizing the legitimate struggle of sovereign citizens who stood up to protect ballot papers and boxes as mere illegal acts, and abusing public power by requesting and executing arrest warrants for core participants, is a blatant unconstitutional atrocity.
We condemn the atrocities of public power that suppress the sovereign struggle while ignoring the essence of the infringement on voting rights triggered by the NEC's fraudulent election, and we strongly urge the following:
One, stop the unjust suppression of public power against the legitimate sovereign struggle of the people.
It is a complete loss of impartiality in law enforcement to ignore the dereliction of duty and the total election fraud by the NEC—the entity responsible for the fraud—while indiscriminately issuing arrest warrants only for protesting citizens.
In light of the Supreme Court ruling related to May 18 (Supreme Court en banc decision 96Do3376) on April 17, 1997, acts that forcibly block, obstruct, and suppress the free formation and assembly of the people's will, which are guaranteed by the Constitution, are no different from insurrectionary violence that denies the democratic constitutional order.
The prosecution and police's attempt to frame the voices of sovereign citizens, outraged by the infringement of their fundamental rights and voting rights, as "violent" is a clear case of putting the cart before the horse and an unconstitutional act that seeks to punish the citizens demanding the eradication of election fraud without investigating those responsible for it.
We urge an immediate end to the unjust suppression of public power and the requesting of arrest warrants for sovereign citizens who resisted the state's infringement of fundamental rights.
Two, arrest and investigate the officials responsible for the NEC’s infringement of voting rights and destruction of the constitutional order.
Citizens who were denied the right to vote headed to the counting stations, crying out that it is a "country where you cannot even vote." Their anger was a form of resistance that occurred because the state first deprived the sovereigns of their fundamental rights. However, the investigation into the NEC, the main culprit of the situation, has been consistently delayed and shoddy for over a month.
We demand that the prosecution and police conduct an immediate, thorough, and sanctuary-free investigation into the NEC's ballot shortage and constitutional destruction, and urge the arrest and investigation of key NEC officials, including Roh Tae-ak and Wi Chul-hwan, as well as the seven IT staff members.
Three, we condemn the political circle's opportunistic silence and urge an opposition-led "Special Prosecutor."
Political circles, both ruling and opposition, deceived the public by calling for a parliamentary investigation and a special prosecutor immediately after the incident. Once their opportunistic interests faded, they acted as if nothing had happened; even most opposition lawmakers, with the exception of Representative Jang Dong-hyuk, have remained passive and silent regarding the truth. This is why the investigation by the prosecution and police is proceeding with its priorities completely reversed.
Political circles must immediately discard their political calculations and move to implement the truth-finding of the infringement on voting rights and the dismantling of the NEC through an opposition-led "Special Prosecutor."
Anyone who obstructs the investigation of election fraud and insults the sovereign struggle is an enemy of democracy.
We urge the joint investigative headquarters of the prosecution and police, which defines the legitimate sovereign struggle against the deprivation of voting rights as illegal and engages in indiscriminate suppression, to heed the 1997 Supreme Court ruling, stop infringing on citizens' fundamental rights, and launch a full-scale investigation into the NEC, which is attempting to cover up the truth.
We condemn the atrocity of shifting blame onto 2030 sovereign protesters who demand the eradication of election fraud and re-elections while avoiding the investigation of those responsible, and we declare again that we will fight until the end until the fraudulent election cartel is dismantled and justice is upheld.
