On the 6th, in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, the People Power Party (PPP) stated, "The People Power Party will restore the nation and the livelihoods of the people that have been undermined by the Lee Jae-myung administration."

Representative Jang Dong-hyeok stated via Facebook on the same day, "We will always stand by the people to ease their burdens and warmly look after their livelihoods. We will lead the way without yielding to any threats."

He emphasized, "The economy has lost its vitality, and people’s wallets have become thinner. Young people are disheartened, and the sighs of small business owners and the self-employed are growing deeper. What politics must focus on right now is solely the livelihood of the people."

Representative Jang pointed out, "However, the reality is the exact opposite. A national computing network went down, leading to an unprecedented paralysis of national systems. Small business owners missed out on peak business, and citizens were left anxious and helpless, unable to process their administrative affairs."

He continued, "The President was nowhere to be seen again. He was filming an entertainment program while leaving the handling of the crisis to public officials. Amidst all this, the tragic news of a public official crushed by the weight of responsibility has left the public heartbroken."

He further argued, "Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, they staged an illegal and unlawful arrest show targeting former Korea Communications Commission Chairperson Lee Jin-sook in order to protect the 'absolute dignity' of Kim Hyun-ji (Head of the Presidential Annex Office). The public will no longer tolerate the total incompetence and irresponsibility of the Lee Jae-myung administration."

Chief Spokesperson Park Seong-hun also remarked in a commentary, "This year's Chuseok feels heavier than ever. The public suffered due to the paralysis of core national computing networks, and customs negotiations have reached a stalemate. The public's disappointment and sense of despondency have only grown."

He added, "What the people want right now is a country that functions properly and a government that fulfills its role. The People Power Party will fulfill its responsibilities to the end so that the people can regain hope."
