Singer Ok Hee (73), who had been battling kidney cancer diagnosed two years ago, has passed away.

Ok Hee had revealed in January that she was focusing on treatment after confessing the spread of her kidney cancer on a broadcast. However, her condition recently worsened, and her husband, former boxer Hong Soo-hwan, had been by her side.

Her wake is at Room 22, 2nd Floor, Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Seoul, and the funeral procession will be on the 24th.
