The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is launching the "Hong Kong Summer Fun" promotion, bundling benefits across tourism, shopping, dining, and transportation to capture the summer season.
Running until August 31, Hong Kong Summer Fun kicks off with the 50th-anniversary edition of the "Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival."
'Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival'
Held along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade until July 1, the Dragon Boat Festival features dragon boat races, live performances, gourmet experiences, and traditional cultural activities.
Key highlights include the "Avenue of Stars," packed with food and entertainment; the "Food Lane," offering unique 'dragon'-themed drinks and snacks; and the "Beer Garden," which provides one complimentary beer voucher per person to international tourists who present their passports.
Additionally, four themed photo spots have been set up throughout the venue, offering visitors a unique and enjoyable experience.
Discounts of up to 50% on Admission Tickets
The HKTB, in partnership with the Trip.com Group, has prepared a travel promotion valued at 20 million HKD (approximately 3.9 billion KRW). This promotion includes benefits for 19 tourist attractions and 3 transportation services.

Additional benefits are available to customers who book hotels via the online travel platforms "Trip.com" or "Ctrip" for stays between July 1 and September 14 with a minimum payment of 1,500 HKD (approximately 290,000 KRW).
Notably, on July 14 only, visitors can purchase one tourist attraction ticket and one public transportation pass at a discount of up to 50% on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible items include the Ngong Ping 360 round-trip standard cable car ticket, Big Bus Tours essential tickets, and two Airport Express (AEL) tickets.
The HKTB is also collaborating with the Quality Tourism Services Association (QTSA) and the Hong Kong Retail Management Association (HKRMA) to host dining promotion events across the city.
Participating merchants will offer "buy-one-get-one" deals and exclusive items for 1 HKD (approx. 200 KRW) or 10 HKD (approx. 2,000 KRW) on a first-come, first-served basis. Some benefits are exclusive to those who register on the HKTB website.

Furthermore, through Hong Kong Summer Fun, the HKTB is promoting major cultural, sports, and music events taking place across the city.
Key events include the "Pixar Summer Fest" (until August 31 at Hong Kong Disneyland), "Panda-stic Summer Birthday Celebration" (June 26–August 31 at Ocean Park Hong Kong), "Hong Kong Football Festival" (July 31–August 5 at Kai Tak Stadium), "Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience" (starting June 29 at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal), and "Design Ah!" (until September 7 at M+ in the West Kowloon Cultural District).
An HKTB official stated, "Through Hong Kong Summer Fun, we plan to widely promote major events and various benefits available across the city this summer," adding, "Visitors to Hong Kong this summer will be able to enjoy a diverse range of experiences, from various events to benefits covering sightseeing, shopping, dining, and transportation."
