The democracy and economic achievements that the Republic of Korea has cultivated until now have been a history of miracles that the world admires. At the root of that glory lies the spirit of June 29, which, 39 years ago today, opened the floodgates of democratization filled with the people's aspirations. However, the reality we face today in 2026 is devastating.

The foundations of liberal democracy are being shaken to their core by the June 3 election fraud, and the Republic of Korea is being driven to the brink of a deeper darkness and regression than before June 29.

The election fraud forces, who lack conscience and shame, continue to occupy public office even after their fraud has been exposed. They draw a line, claiming there was no election fraud and merely mumbling about "poor election management." It is an act of wickedness where they deceive even themselves, much like someone dismissing "terminal stomach cancer" as mere "indigestion" while reaching only for painkillers.

The festering wound of election fraud is beyond healing, and the reality of the fraud—brought about by the deprivation of suffrage—is inciting public outrage. Now that we have passed the threshold of patience, what is needed is the dismantling of the National Election Commission, a revolution-level eradication of election fraud, and the restoration of liberal democracy.

Accordingly, we define the eradication of election fraud as the primary national task for the normalization of the Republic of Korea, a task that can no longer be delayed. We strongly demand that Jang Dong-hyeok, Representative of the People Power Party—who has fought valiantly with all his heart—now stake the very fate of his party on fighting and eradicating election fraud.

First, Representative Jang Dong-hyeok must establish the party's identity as an opposition party and make the eradication of election fraud the official party platform.

You must not compromise with the scoundrels within the party who shake it during this state of election fraud, nor should you weigh gains or losses. You must set the center of the wavering party straight and resolutely sever ties with anti-party forces that have abandoned their principles.

Declare a clear identity of eradicating election fraud to the party members and the public, define the government and the ruling party—which are so corrupt in body and soul that they even reject a special counsel—as deep-rooted evils, and initiate a movement for the ouster of the administration for its responsibility in the election fraud.

The public urges the determination of a sharp opposition party that is "all-in" on an "administration ouster movement" at the risk of its life. Eradicating election fraud is a task of the era that will save both the Republic of Korea and the People Power Party simultaneously. We must move away from the past parliamentary politics of Yeouido, which survived on armchair theories and turning a blind eye to compromises.

Go right now to Jamsil, the front line of election fraud, conduct a public inspection of the 380 still-sealed ballot boxes, and push through a special counsel investigation into the election fraud.

Refusing to accept a special counsel even after election fraud has been exposed is equivalent to admitting to the fraud yourself. The "gag law" to be implemented on July 7 is a product of election fraud.

The forces of election fraud will not die easily and will resist to the end, as they have done things that are far too wicked, heartless, and have formed a lawless cartel.

Second, review international investigation measures through South Korea-U.S. cooperation to eradicate election fraud.

If it is difficult to eradicate election fraud with our own strength, we must find power connected to international organizations. We must create a white paper on election fraud and share it by sending it to the "UN Human Rights Council" and the "International Criminal Court." The crimes against humanity, immorality, and acts of treason committed by the election fraud forces must be judged by the justice of the people and the world.

The Republic of Korea's electoral sovereignty and freedom of expression are core values that support the liberal democratic alliance; however, the election fraud forces have created a lawless world where even what we say and express in good conscience becomes a crime. The election fraud has not only deprived us of freedom of expression domestically but has also developed into a major security crisis that threatens the interests and values of our alliance.

Without freedom of expression, there is no liberal democracy, and the value of an alliance cannot survive in a nation where liberal democracy has collapsed. If protecting and maintaining freedom were easy, would Hong Kong have fallen to communism? If we are to protect and maintain our liberal democratic system, we must tighten the reins of our hearts.

Therefore, we strongly demand that People Power Party Representative Jang Dong-hyeok become the fulcrum for eradicating election fraud, and that South Korea and the U.S. cooperate to investigate and root out this fraud.

Third, Representative Jang Dong-hyeok must hold the current government accountable for the election fraud and join the movement for its ouster.

To prevent the destruction of evidence by election fraud forces and to correct the damaged constitutional order, the ouster of the current administration is inevitable. The trampling of suffrage, the foundation of democracy, is not mere mismanagement of an election. It is the result of election fraud committed by an "election fraud cartel" over a long period.

Until now, the government and the ruling party have suppressed even the public's legitimate raising of suspicions regarding election fraud, privatized the judicial system to conceal the truth, erased evidence, and destroyed constitutional values. Furthermore, they have degraded the electoral system into a tool for maintaining power, exacerbating national division and political distrust.

The only way to set the justice of the Republic of Korea straight and restore the collapsed constitutional order is the ouster of the government and ruling party that have mocked popular sovereignty, plundered liberal democracy, and driven it to its death through election fraud.

We urge Representative Jang Dong-hyeok to engage in the movement to oust the regime with fierce determination and action. History remembers those who make decisions and judges those who hesitate. Representative Jang Dong-hyeok must realize that he is a person with a heaven-sent mission to eradicate election fraud and must fulfill that mission.

If you face the national crisis head-on and demonstrate the courage of a vanguard, the people will send you their trust. We, too, hereby declare that we will join in the eradication of election fraud to restore a free and vibrant liberal democracy in the Republic of Korea.

I cannot trust Dr. Jang Jae-eon, who believes Jang Dong-hyuk will save the country.
Come to think of it, we share the same last name, Jang.
The People Power Party must first reflect on their sin of not nominating Min Kyung-wook in the past.
