The legal team for "Oldark" has issued a statement condemning the worst comprehensive election rigging in history, which was perpetrated during the recent June 3 local and by-election elections.

On the 10th, the legal team officially released a statement exposing the fatal illegality of the Songpa counting station, where ballot counting was forced through behind closed doors while observers and proportional representation candidates were barred from entry. They issued a grave warning that they would immediately stop the authorities' absurd repression of "Oldark," a woman who personally embodied the spirit of the April 19 Revolution—enshrined in the Constitution’s preamble—by resisting injustice.

According to the statement, the legal team strongly urged the legislature to immediately re-enact the "Act on the Punishment of Persons Involved in Election Fraud," which was established after the historic March 15 rigged election and abolished in 2008. They emphasized the need to "punish the real criminals and protect the noble citizens who rose up to resist the injustice of the June 3 fraudulent election."

The following is the full text of the statement.

1. Closed-door counting in Songpa that even barred observers and candidates: Can the Songpa counting station claim the count was completed?

Following the June 3 election, a "secret, illegal ballot count" was forced through at the Songpa counting station set up at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium.

Not only were ballots suddenly relocated from Jamsil 2-dong Polling Station No. 7 to the Songpa counting station, but observers carrying legitimate counting observation passes were denied entry. Even when a proportional representation candidate for the election personally arrived at the scene to request access, the National Election Commission (NEC) completely ignored them and pushed forward with the count.

As a result, long after the election ended, the nation remains in the dark, with no way to verify whether the count in Songpa was ever properly concluded.

If this was a proper counting station, I must ask: how is it that politicians or officials from the Korea Sport & Olympic Committee could enter and leave at will without any restrictions, while even on-site inspections based on lawful proceedings like a parliamentary audit are strictly controlled? This is a serious crime scene where the integrity of our sovereignty has been thoroughly contaminated.

2. We condemn the absurd retribution against innocent citizens who defended the Constitution with the spirit of the April 19 Revolution.

Across the Republic of Korea, citizens are filled with a singular desire to save the country, crying out for "the eradication of election fraud, a full re-election, and 100% manual counting of votes on election day."

The actions of "Oldark," a female citizen who resisted injustice day and night at Jamsil 2-dong Polling Station No. 7 and the Songpa counting station at Olympic Park, are a true model of defending the Constitution, directly inheriting the "April 19 democratic spirit" enshrined in the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea.

Attempting to punish a legitimate sovereign citizen who stood up to protect such a noble ideal by trapping them with absurd charges of "obstruction of business" is a clear abuse of power and an act of blaming the victim. The real targets for punishment are those involved in the election fraud who trampled upon our sovereignty and deceived the public.

3. "Ballot shortages" are just the tip of the iceberg; we must focus on the iceberg itself.

The "shortage of main ballots" that shook the nation is merely the tip of the iceberg of the massive election fraud that occurred nationwide. Now, the public must look past the fragmented administrative mistakes right in front of us and see the massive iceberg lurking beneath the surface.

Both the parliamentary audit and the future special prosecutor must focus on the enormous election fraud that lies behind the ballot shortage crisis.

o The existence of forged ballots: In regions such as Seoul and Gyeonggi, thousands of people have testified that they cast their votes on ballots for metropolitan government heads where there were only two candidates. Citizens are questioning why fake ballots, rather than official ones, were issued to voters.

The Songpa-gu NEC "dissolved"—not just shredded—as much as 7.46 tons of paper before evidence preservation, an amount equivalent to 4.75 million ballots or 600 boxes. We ask, what exactly was the criminal group, the NEC, risking the destruction of evidence to dissolve so urgently?

Has our sovereignty been dissolved? I must ask if they were afraid that the "magic" would be revealed, similar to when shredded waste from the Gangseo-gu NEC in Busan was reconstructed back into ballots.

o Physical manipulation: Numerous cases have been discovered of defenseless ballot boxes with broken locks and pins, and special sealing tapes that had been forcibly opened, showing "VOID" holograms.

Massive quantities of "brick ballots"—pristine, new-bill-like ballots without the typical curvature of roll-fed paper—were inserted, and to cover this up, illegal acts of unauthorized cutting of serial number strips with scissors were captured inside the counting station.

It was as if the voting was happening right there in the counting station. The NEC must answer: did the CCTV work properly during the time the ballots were in their custody, and why were the seals on the storage units damaged and altered?

o Administrative and computer manipulation: How are citizens supposed to accept evidence of duplicate voting, proxy voting, and the mass registration of unidentified Chinese nationals at a single address? Mail-in ballots that enter the post office are placed in a blind spot for surveillance.

In this system, where a ballot going from Songpa Post Office to Songpa Post Office must pass through a mail processing center, we have no idea what happens inside the post office, mail processing center, and mail logistics center, where no one is watching. Furthermore, why are we still using electronic counting machines that have been identified as the root cause of election fraud in numerous countries?

The phenomenon of a retroactive decrease in the real-time vote count through post-election server manipulation has been documented. Could the statistically impossible "twin vote coupling" phenomenon be related to the set values and the subsequent influx of new-bill-like "brick ballots"?

4. Heeding the historical lesson of the March 15 rigged election: Immediately revive "Article 5 of the Act on the Punishment of Persons Involved in Election Fraud."

Historically, following the March 15 rigged election, our judicial system enacted the "Act on the Punishment of Persons Involved in Election Fraud" on December 31, 1960, to strictly punish those involved in election crimes and their accomplices. This law remained in effect for 48 years until it was abolished on December 19, 2008.

To establish election justice and protect citizens who resist injustice, the legal team strongly urges the immediate re-enactment of this special law, reviving "Article 5"—the core of the old punishment act—as it was originally written.

Article 5 of the abolished Act on the Punishment of Persons Involved in Election Fraud (Murder, Injury, Assault, etc., and those who directed or ordered them): ① Any person who murders an individual in relation to election fraud, or murders a citizen protesting against election fraud, shall be punished by death, life imprisonment, or imprisonment or forced labor for no less than 7 years.

② Any person who commits assault, injury, intimidation, confinement, or arrest against a citizen in relation to election fraud or in relation to a citizen protesting against election fraud, shall be punished by imprisonment or forced labor for no less than 1 year and no more than 15 years. If this results in death, the maximum statutory penalty shall be life imprisonment.

③ In the cases of the preceding two paragraphs, those who ordered, directed, or abetted such acts shall be subject to the same penalties as stipulated in the preceding two paragraphs.

④ Preparations, conspiracies, and attempts to commit the acts in Paragraph 1 shall be punished.

We hope the NEC—which acts no differently than a criminal organization—and the soul-less police organization that blindly obeys Lee Jae-myung will no longer walk the path of destruction by piling illegality upon illegality. Public authorities that oppress innocent citizens to hide the truth will inevitably face the stern judgment of history.

The legal team for "Oldark" will look only toward the justice of the sovereign people and continue its legal struggle with a resolve to fight to the end until the day the Republic of Korea is reborn as a truthful and just nation governed by the rule of law.
