The 1st anniversary ceremony of the Freedom and Innovation Party is being held at Marina Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 12th.

The Freedom and Innovation Party, which advocates for the eradication of election fraud forces and the strengthening of the ROK-U.S. alliance, successfully held its official 1st-anniversary ceremony, setting a milestone for South Korea's new leap forward and the establishment of rational conservatism.

The Freedom and Innovation Party (led by Hwang Kyo-ahn, former Acting President and Prime Minister) expressed its gratitude to party members during the ceremony on the 12th, stating, "That a new party, less than a year old, has been able to accomplish so much is a testament to the hard work of our members, as we strive to set South Korea right by inheriting the spirit of freedom from founding President Syngman Rhee and the spirit of innovation from President Park Chung-hee."

Chairman Hwang declared, "The Freedom and Innovation Party is a party that values the ROK-U.S. alliance above all, a party that has consistently fought against election fraud while calling for transparency and fairness, a party standing against anti-state forces to protect South Korea, a party creating the future with our youth, and a party that speaks of unification." He added, "We will launch a powerful struggle to renew South Korea and begin a movement for the resignation of Lee Jae-myung in earnest."

He specifically reflected, "Although it has only been a short year, Freedom and Innovation has walked a difficult path." He continued, "Because we stood our ground when no one else would—even when we were criticized as conspiracy theorists—most of the public is now aware of election fraud." He asserted, "President Yoon Suk-yeol has declared martial law to eradicate election fraud, and not only in our country but also the U.S. President is fighting against election fraud," emphasizing, "It is only a matter of time; we are achieving our goals."

Just two days after registering with the National Election Commission last year, the Freedom and Innovation Party's central headquarters was raided by police. Overcoming this hardship, they met with State Department officials in Washington D.C. in September to discuss the ROK-U.S. alliance. Following visits to the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) and the Heritage Foundation, 16 members participated in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the U.S. this March, where they urged U.S. intervention for the release of President Yoon Suk-yeol on the main stage.

Following Chairman Hwang’s direct meeting with Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow and a prominent U.S. advocate for "Election Integrity" and a close associate of Donald Trump, the U.S. side dispatched a joint U.S.-ROK investigation team, including Dr. Douglas G. Frank, for the June 3 local and by-election. Furthermore, by attending the "Fraud-Fighter SUMMIT" in Las Vegas in June, the party created an opportunity for Americans to chant "Yoon Again" and gain a concrete understanding of the reality in South Korea.

Chairman Hwang encouraged the attendees, saying, "It is truly a source of pride that a young party with so many youth members has gathered such strength to inform the U.S. and the international community about the reality of South Korea." Furthermore, Chairman Hwang promised to secure a permanent party headquarters, promote an education and training system for the elite development of all members, and revamp the internal Freedom Research Institute to create policies that revive the people's livelihoods. He emphasized, "Like the Reform UK party that caused a sensation in the British general election last June, Freedom and Innovation will also trigger a storm in Korea."

Political and government figures who attended the event praised the Freedom and Innovation Party for establishing a solid identity and demonstrating the qualities of an alternative party within a short period.

Former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook of the United Future Party (former People Power Party) said in his congratulatory speech, "I hope that this beautiful Freedom and Innovation Party, created by Chairman Hwang for noble ideals and values, will continue for 10, 50, or even 100 years." He then led the crowd in chanting the slogans advocated by the party: eradicating election fraud, rooting out anti-state forces, strengthening the ROK-U.S. alliance, and standing with the youth.

Subsequently, party members were selected at random to take the stage. One member noted, "I was deeply moved by Chairman Hwang’s words that he would carry on the spirit of Freedom and Innovation with the same posture as the soldiers who died at White Horse Hill during the Korean War, still holding their rifles." Another member freely shared suggestions on how to improve the party's future events.

As the ceremony proceeded, the audience chanted "Morse Tan" when Morse H. Tan, former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice, took the stage. Ambassador Tan began by saying, "The Bible says not to despise small beginnings." He added, "I remember seeing the birth of the Freedom and Innovation Party during my visit to Korea last July, and I have been happy to see it continue to grow since then. Many things have small beginnings but eventually have a massive impact, and I expect the Freedom and Innovation Party will be one such case."

He further remarked, "There are many politicians who only look good on the outside, but what is important is character. Chairman Hwang Kyo-ahn is a politician with a kind heart and character like pure gold."
