Hot weather will continue through the 14th as the maximum apparent temperature in most parts of the country reaches around 33°C. In the central region, Jeonbuk, and the Gyeongbuk area, the maximum apparent temperature will climb to around 35°C.
Temperatures may drop temporarily in areas experiencing rain or showers, but after the rain stops, the high humidity will cause temperatures to rise again, leading to sultry conditions.
Rain is expected in parts of the Jeonnam region, western Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island. The expected precipitation is 5–10 mm for Gwangju and Jeonnam, 5–10 mm for western Gyeongnam, 5–20 mm for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and around 5 mm for other parts of Jeju Island.
From the afternoon through the evening, showers are expected in the Seoul metropolitan area, the Chungcheong region, and Jeonbuk. The forecast precipitation is 5–40 mm for Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi; 5–20 mm for the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon; 5–20 mm for Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk; and 5–20 mm for Jeonbuk.
In areas experiencing showers, there may be gusts, thunder, and lightning, so please take caution regarding facility management and safety accidents.
Swells and high waves are expected along the coasts of Jeju Island and the southern coast.
Waves in the offshore areas of the East Sea will reach 0.5–2.0 m, and 0.5–2.5 m in the offshore areas of the West and South Seas. Wave heights in the deep seas (approximately 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5–2.0 m for the East Sea, 1.5–5.0 m for the West Sea, and 1.5–3.5 m for the South Sea.
