Reuters reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver an address to the nation on the 16th at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time; 10:00 a.m. the following day, Korean time) regarding foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. 

Citing an MS NOW report on the 14th, Reuters broke the news that “U.S. President Donald Trump is slated to speak on Thursday about newly declassified intelligence on foreign nations' plans to interfere in the U.S. election in 2020.” 

Reuters stated in the following sentences of its report that President Trump has claimed the 2020 U.S. presidential election was rigged, but noted that this has not been confirmed; however, this claim by Reuters itself has also never undergone public verification. 

Previously, President Trump announced the schedule for his address via his social media platform, Truth Social, on the 13th (local time), but he did not disclose specific details regarding the content of the speech.
