U.S. President Donald Trump stated on the 13th (local time) that the U.S. would "hit [Iran] hard tonight and tomorrow" as hostilities resumed following a ceasefire.

During an appearance on the conservative radio program 'The Hugh Hewitt Show' that day, President Trump made the remarks, asserting, "There is nothing they can do about it. They have nothing. All they can do is talk big."

Regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on ending the war with Iran—which is now considered on the verge of collapse due to the resumed hostilities—President Trump described it as something "created to test [Iran]."

President Trump pointed out that an MOU is merely a preliminary step before reaching a "final agreement" to end the war, stating that it "doesn't mean much." He added, "It was a sort of test. They failed the test. They did not respect the test."
