Police have launched an investigation after an employee at an election commission office in Incheon was found dead in the office.

According to police and other sources on the 21st, a colleague discovered 50-year-old employee Mr. A collapsed in an Incheon-area election commission office at approximately 11:10 a.m. the previous day and reported it to 119.

At the time, the colleague reported, "Someone has collapsed and is unconscious."

Mr. A was already deceased, and it is reported that he left behind a suicide note.

The police have stated that there are no signs of foul play and are currently investigating the exact cause and circumstances of Mr. A's death.
