The United States conducted airstrikes against Iran for the 13th consecutive day on the 23rd (local time).

The U.S. Central Command stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "at 6:45 p.m. Eastern Time (7:45 a.m. on the 24th KST, 2:15 a.m. on the 24th Iranian time), we initiated additional overnight airstrikes targeting Iranian military facilities."

They added, "This airstrike is part of an operation to hold Iran accountable and degrade the threats posed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to commercial vessels."

The strikes took place amid heightened tensions, as U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is "considering a massive attack" against Iran, describing it as "bigger than any we have ever conducted before."
