On June 23, this newspaper published a column on its opinion page titled <[Shin Sook-hee Column: Election Fraud Special] Part 1: "The Reality of the Election Cartel That Committed Acts Worse Than Beasts">.

In relation to this, the Democratic Party of Korea stated, "The allegations that the Democratic Party of Korea systematically planned or intervened in election fraud are entirely untrue, and there is no objective evidence or court judgment to support such claims. Characterizing it as systematic election fraud by arbitrarily connecting the backgrounds and activities of certain individuals is a one-sided assertion that does not align with the facts. Furthermore, expressions such as 'election cartel' presuppose that the Democratic Party is an organized criminal group without any objective basis, which is completely different from the truth."

In relation to this, the Democratic Party of Korea stated, "We have never colluded with the National Election Commission or any other state agency to rig elections or illegally obtain election-related information. The big data analysis utilized by the Institute for Democracy during the election campaign was merely a standard election strategy study using publicly available election results and statistical data; there is no basis to link this to election rigging or the illegal acquisition of personal information." Furthermore, they stated, "The content concluding that the Democratic Party of Korea systematically committed election fraud based on the early voting turnout mentioned in the column, the remarks of Representative Kim Min-seok, early voting barcodes, A-WEB, USAID, etc., is not an objective fact. There are no investigation results or court judgments that support this."

In relation to this, the Democratic Party of Korea stated, "There is no truth to the claims that the Democratic Party of Korea illegally acquired personal information or was involved in election fraud in collusion with the National Election Commission by linking separate issues—such as personal information leaks due to telecommunications company hacking, Kakao Pay's provision of information, and government network accidents—without any objective basis or supporting evidence." They further added, "There was no illegal receipt of personal information or improper collusion with the National Election Commission during the election process. By reporting unverified allegations linking them to election fraud without providing objective evidence or specific facts to support such claims, the column risks creating a false perception among the public."
