On the 25th, People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyeok will visit Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, and Daegu to continue his "outdoor political" campaign, calling for the introduction of a special prosecutor to investigate the opposition-led National Election Commission and the holding of re-elections.
Representative Jang is scheduled to visit Geobuk Park in Gimhae around 1:00 p.m. today to attend a rally condemning the disenfranchisement caused by the shortage of ballots during the June 3rd election.
He then plans to move to the plaza at Banwoldang Intersection in Daegu to attend the "National Rally for the Restoration of Voting Rights and Defense of Democracy."
It is reported that members of the party leadership, including supreme council members, as well as some incumbent lawmakers from Daegu, will be present at the site.
Beginning with a roundtable meeting with youth organizations in Incheon and the metropolitan area on the 8th, Representative Jang has visited Busan and Gwangju, South Jeolla Province, in sequence to join rally sites advocating for re-elections and reform of the National Election Commission.
