As People Power Party (PPP) leader Jang Dong-hyeok visited Daegu on the 25th and chanted the slogan, “Until the day we reclaim our suffrage, our only cry is: ‘Re-election for the fraudulent election, same-day voting, and manual ballot counting,’” he received an enthusiastic response, further igniting the resolve of the patriotic right-wing citizens of Daegu.
On the 26th, a post expressing gratitude to the PPP was uploaded to the Daegu Struggle Headquarters (Dae-tu-bon) social media, stating, “Representative Jang Dong-hyeok led the crowd in shouting ‘Re-election for the fraudulent election, same-day voting, and manual ballot counting’ three times at the Daegu Banwoldang rally on July 25.”
Kim Wook-ju, a patriotic citizen who identified himself as a member of Dae-tu-bon, cited Representative Jang’s speech, saying, “Thanks to the fighting spirit of patriotic citizens, we were able to breach the walls of the National Election Commission and penetrate its servers,” and expressed confidence by stating, “The Dae-tu-bon and patriotic civic groups nationwide have now firmly seized the initiative.”
In addition, while calling for gratitude toward the Jang Dong-hyeok leadership of the PPP, he also stated that previous party leaders and lawmakers who failed to act would be remembered as traitors to history.
He further remarked, “It was the first time in my struggle since 2012 that I heard such a clear and unequivocal acknowledgment of the election fraud,” expressing how profoundly moved he was.

Representative Jang Dong-hyeok also stated on Facebook on the 25th, “It was a passionate Saturday. In Gimhae and Daegu, countless young people and citizens gathered. Their cry was one: ‘Re-election for the fraudulent election, same-day voting, and manual ballot counting.’” He added, “They insisted that computer manipulation was impossible, yet it has been proven possible. They called allegations of election fraud 'conspiracy theories,' but it has now been proven that their claims were the actual conspiracy theories.”
He further declared, “The public now knows the truth about who is right and who is wrong. We must expedite the special prosecutor investigation. We can no longer trust the joint investigation headquarters or the courts. Until the day we reclaim our stolen suffrage and restore democracy in the Republic of Korea, the people’s cry will not cease.”

Meanwhile, Choi Young-ho, head of Dae-tu-bon, shared the hardships of the movement, saying, “People often ask why we keep doing this while enduring insults, assuming there must be some great hidden benefit. Furthermore, why wouldn't there be moments of frustration and anger amidst countless slanders, plots from the outside, and internal conflicts?”
However, he stated, “We have been running with only one thought: let's end this within 100 days!” and urged many to participate in the 54th National Right to Resist Daegu rally held today (the 26th).
Currently, the Daegu Struggle Headquarters has over 2,500 active members and has been holding the National Right to Resist rallies every day since the June 3 election fraud. Despite the grueling daily schedule, public support is steadily growing, with some even traveling from Seoul to join the struggle. Additionally, 'war supplies' are arriving one after another, as citizens continue to show their heartfelt support through donations ranging from bottled water and fruit to cup noodles.
