Jenny Shin (33) has added another trophy to her name on the LPGA Tour after a 10-year wait.

On the 26th, in the final round of the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open (total prize money of $2 million) held at Dundonald Links (par 72) in North Ayrshire, Scotland, Shin shot a 3-over-par 75, including two birdies and five bogeys.

With a final total of 9-under-par 279, Shin finished two strokes ahead of runner-up Kim A-lim (7-under-par 281) to clinch the victory. The winner's prize is $300,000 (approximately 430 million won).

Having competed on the LPGA Tour since 2011 and securing her first victory at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout in May 2016, Shin experienced the joy of a second career win after 10 years and two months.

Following Haeran Ryu's consecutive major wins at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship late last month and the Amundi Evian Championship two weeks ago, Shin's triumph at this tournament marks three consecutive victories for South Korean players on the LPGA Tour.

Including the two wins by Kim Hyo-joo (Founders Cup, Ford Championship) in March and one win by Lee Mi-hyang (Blue Bay LPGA), South Korean players have combined for six victories this season.
