Speaking on condition of anonymity, he reaffirmed that "this had been one of the trails the U.S. had been following for some time," confirming that the operation to apprehend the Chinese spy ring, secretly conducted on South Korean soil, was executed precisely according to a pre-established plan. 

He further disclosed the global progression of U.S. operations for the first time, stating, "They [the U.S.] had been aware of such so-called Chinese activities for a long time and, in their own way, had already been conducting investigations into cases in other countries, including South Korea."

Addressing the concern within Korea that the U.S. is holding a decisive card without revealing it, D spoke based on his communications with the leadership of U.S. security departments. When asked by the reporter to reconfirm the authenticity of the operation and why the U.S. is not disclosing it in a timely manner, he replied, "It is true, but the U.S. cannot reveal it in the way you [in Korea] are suggesting." 

Regarding this, he stated, "Whether within China or through U.S. efforts, the goal is to completely isolate China and force Xi Jinping to step down," adding, "Then, by choosing someone to lead China, the U.S. strategy is to revert China back to the Spring and Autumn/Warring States period—to break it into pieces."

D's assertion that China will be torn apart like in the Warring States period is consistent with the context provided by B, a senior intelligence source for U.S. agencies, who appeared in the third installment of this series. Regarding the possibility of the spy ring arrests being made public after Xi Jinping is removed, he added his personal view: "If they reveal everything, the U.S. will have no room for negotiation with China." 

D emphasized, "International relations are never that simple," adding, "It's the U.S. strategy to hedge its bets, knowing that no regime is permanent, and to nurture opposition forces to see who might become the next regime."

He pointed out that while the Tang Dynasty of China was once a flourishing global hegemonic power, it could not last for 300 years, hinting that "no regime can last forever, and no matter what government takes power in China, the U.S. holds a 'winning hand'." 

Specifically, he elaborated, "Even if they oust Xi Jinping now, the U.S. employs a strategy where they have a 'winning hand' ready to emerge next." 

D, who held key positions in domestic intelligence agencies, recalled his experience in the U.S. during the Park Chung-hee administration, citing the example of how the U.S. cultivated Kim Dae-jung. "When I went to the U.S. and visited an international think tank, I saw that they were simultaneously cultivating the current ruling party leaders and the expected opposition leaders for countries all over the world," he shared.

He then requested that this incident be understood in the context of its connection to the so-called "Shadow Government," or "Deep State," which dominates the world. 

He noted that Donald Trump was the first influential politician to popularize the term "Deep State," which was relatively unfamiliar to the general public, in the U.S. "Trump (the President) also knows about it. Trump is the one who officially brought up the term Deep State in the U.S.," he said, adding his personal opinion: "Now Trump has taken power. His position before taking office was to fight them, but after taking office, he must seek coexistence with them."

To follow such a strategy, if they were to expose all of China's evil deeds committed around the world, they would have to cut ties with those forces as well. So, to oust Xi Jinping, they must join hands with those forces, and those forces are all linked to election fraud. That is why they cannot expose it." 

D stressed that it is time for national awakening and unity, stating, "Ultimately, we have no choice but to realize that we must solve our own problems ourselves."
