Former President Yoon Suk-yeol reportedly notified the Joe Biden administration in advance of martial law.

According to an article registered on Substack.com by Millennial Grey Matters (hereinafter referred to as MGM) on the 24th (Sunday), they stated, "We spoke with an insider in Washington D.C. who worked at the NSC, and he revealed that he heard this information."

MGM assessed that the information "could further embroil the corrupt Biden administration in scandals."

In an article titled "Korea's Crisis: China Is Coming to America," MGM reported that former President Yoon provided some surprising information during a meeting with a visiting dignitary from the U.S. for humanitarian aid.

First, he revealed that he had notified the U.S. Embassy in Korea of the declaration of martial law through one of his senior aides prior to its declaration. However, Philip Goldberg, who was the U.S. Ambassador to Korea at the time, appeared to have intended to create a public impression of surprise at the declaration of martial law.

Korean media reported that Goldberg called former President Yoon after the declaration of martial law to "request further explanation and expressed concerns that it would severely damage Korea's honor."

Furthermore, the Korean mainstream media at the time reported that Goldberg submitted a report describing Yoon's close associates as "people he didn't want to deal with," which drew a "completely false" backlash from the U.S. Embassy.

Second, President Yoon expressed his desire for multifaceted contact with President Trump, including sending a special envoy to meet with him. A Bible gift was also included. This process would have concluded with an official visit by President Yoon if President Trump had decided to extend an invitation, MGM added.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's delegation landed at Joint Base Andrews at 1:34 PM EST on the 24th. While minimal diplomatic protocol was provided, given that Blair House was not offered in the same manner as it was for the South African President, and there was no welcoming cabinet member, it is clear that it was not treated as an official state visit.

MGM further pointed out the dangers of the Lee Jae-myung administration as follows:

"Pro-China progressive Lee Jae-myung will betray Trump, just as pro-China progressive Moon Jae-in betrayed the United States. We have friends with connections to the Hong Kong elite who have heard rumors that Lee Jae-myung has been bought off by Chinese interest groups and is currently undergoing a takeover by China."

MGM emphasizes the need to make South Korea a true ally, stating, "The current political environment in South Korea does not align with America's best interests in having them as an ally."

"Even as we criticize and critique neoliberal internationalism and its recent capitulation to neo-Marxism, it is in America's current interests to have allies with deep democratic structures, not simply relying on superficial norms, and to engage fairly and transparently with foreign investors through major institutions."

Citing a policy briefing document titled "Strategic Rationale for Canceling Meeting with President Lee Jae-myung" reported by News & Post on the 21st, MGM pointed out, "The possibility of a close relationship between President Lee Jae-myung and Chinese Communist Party Chairman Wang Huning is highly concerning."

According to MGM, Wang Huning's name appeared in right-wing discussions online a few years ago, where he garnered attention for his sharp analysis of American society and demonstrated a deep cultural understanding of the United States. MGM explains that Wang Huning is regarded as an ideological enforcer and the most brilliant and competent American expert within the Chinese Communist Party.

Wang Huning gained prominence in 1991 with his book "America Against America," based on research conducted during his six-month exchange professorship in the United States in 1988. This book contained a strategy known as "Yi Jian Yi Jia," meaning to create conflict among Americans within the United States.

Currently, Wang Huning serves as the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, responsible for the United Front, acting as Xi Jinping's strategist.

MGM argues in this article that South Korea must be made into an ally that benefits U.S. national interests, emphasizing, "We must appoint a strong ambassador with a firm will and unwavering commitment to American interests," and stressing, "This means a courageous resistance to China's consolidation of power on the Korean Peninsula."
