Democratic Labor Union Executive Booked for Drunk Driving on Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Premises

An executive from the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) was apprehended by the police for drunk driving within the premises of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

According to the police and the FKTU on the 27th, the Jongno Police Station booked executive A of the FKTU on suspicion of drunk driving today.

A is suspected of driving approximately 50 meters within the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency premises around 1 a.m. today after consuming alcohol.

It is reported that A parked his car at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to file a protest notification, then drank alcohol outside before returning to the driver's seat.

At the time of apprehension, A's blood alcohol content was found to be at a level that would warrant a driver's license suspension.
