Huawei Korea Collaborates with Local Universities to Nurture ICT Talent

Partnering with Dongguk University, Ewha Womans University, and Hanyang University to Promote Educational Programs

Huawei Korea announced on the 29th that it has signed memorandums of understanding with Dongguk University, Ewha Womans University, and Hanyang University to jointly promote educational programs for nurturing talent in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

Under the agreement, Huawei will provide tuition-free training on next-generation networks and ICT innovation to outstanding students recommended by each university following a selection process this year.

The students will share planning resources for global ICT advancement and complete a curriculum that encompasses culture, leadership, and technology.

Valian Wang, CEO of Huawei Korea, stated, "We will continue to support young Koreans so they can grow into talent who lead the future ICT industry."
