(Washington=Yonhap News) Correspondent Jo Joon-hyung = The White House in the United States released about 40 photos of the ROK-US summit held on the 25th of last month, taken by the official White House photographer, through a photo-sharing site on the 1st (local time).
On this day, the White House account on the photo-sharing site 'Flickr' released not only images of President Donald Trump greeting President Lee Jae-myung at the entrance of the White House West Wing on the 25th of last month and scenes from the summit in the office, which were released to the press, but also photos of the two leaders conversing after the press had departed.
Particularly eye-catching are the photos that capture President Lee actively explaining or persuading President Trump of something.
In this photo, President Trump is seated at the 'Resolute Desk' in the office, and President Lee is shown speaking to President Trump, with his left hand on the desk and his right hand extended.
Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik and an interpreter are seated on either side of President Lee. The interpreter's role is to translate President Lee's remarks in real-time.
On the Resolute Desk is a red 'MAGA' (Make America Great Again, Trump's campaign slogan) hat, which President Trump often wears at various events. It appears to be a hat that President Trump autographed to present as a gift to President Lee and the ROK delegation.
In addition, photos were released showing President Trump, seated at the desk, speaking to President Lee and Chief of Staff Kang with both hands extended forward, as well as a photo of President Lee looking through a photo album he received from President Trump while President Trump was signing the brim of a hat.

Furthermore, photos were presented showing President Lee, Foreign Minister Cho Hyun, and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Jeong-kwan seated against a backdrop of the Taegeukgi and the Stars and Stripes in the White House Cabinet Room, which served as the venue for the working lunch that followed the summit talks in the office.
Additionally, a photo was released showing President Trump pointing to a TV monitor in the office, where a video related to the summit from Fox News, a 'pro-Trump' media outlet, was playing, and speaking to President Lee.
