"Charlie Kirk heard that Pastor Son Hyun-bo (SaeGero Church) was raided and told Trump about it."

These were the words spoken by Rob McCoy, Chairman of TPUSA Faith, during a recent lecture at SaeGero Church.

He revealed that he had told President Donald Trump about the church being searched and seized when Trump met with President Lee Jae-myung of Korea on August 25th, and that this information came from Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk is a right-wing political activist who founded Turning Point USA and is considered one of the most influential young leaders in the American right wing.

Pastor McCoy stated that Trump, who was once an irreligious person who didn't even go to church, has changed after being shot by an assassin.

"(Trump) is now fighting for religious freedom more than any pastor," he said.

Addressing the hundreds of congregants gathered at SaeGero Church, Pastor McCoy said, "Your pastor is creating a movement worldwide," and to Pastor Son Hyun-bo, "I stand with you. If they come after you, they come after me."

He warned that if the Lee Jae-myung administration targets churches, "the current 15% tariff on Korea will become 300%." Pastor McCoy stated this to the Korean president, urging him to listen now.

McCoy added, "If the pastor, if the church, suffers, this nation's administration will pay the price."

He emphasized, "If the government targets religious freedom, the nation will suffer. God's people must rise up. Do not fear. God wins."

In addition to Charlie Kirk, other individuals known to have advised President Trump on religious persecution in Korea include White House advisor Paula White-Cain and Pastor Franklin Graham.

Meanwhile, numerous conservative leaders, including Charlie Kirk and Pastor McCoy, are visiting Korea as speakers for 'Build Up Korea,' to be held at KINTEX on the 5th and 6th.

Now in its third year since its inception in 2023, 'Build Up Korea' is held under the theme "Born to Lead, Build the Nation Again!"
