Kim Ha-seong (29), who recently joined the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB), has hit his first home run in his second game since the trade.

On the 4th (KST), in a road game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois, Kim Ha-seong hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the 7th inning when his team was trailing 0-1.

Kim Ha-seong, who started at shortstop batting seventh, struck out in the 5th inning after hitting a foul pop-up to the catcher in the 2nd. In the 7th, with runners on first and third and two outs, he came up for his third at-bat.

He connected with a first-pitch fastball from Drew Pomeranz, sending a bullet-like drive at 108.5 mph (approximately 174.6 km/h) a distance of 391 feet (119.2 meters).

This marks Kim Ha-seong's third home run of the season.

Kim Ha-seong was unexpectedly traded from the Tampa Bay Rays to Atlanta on the 2nd. In his first game with the Braves on the 3rd, he went 2-for-4.

In his final at-bat in the 9th, Kim Ha-seong flied out to left field.

Kim Ha-seong went 1-for-4 with a home run, 3 RBIs, and 1 run scored, leading his team to a 5-1 victory. Kim Ha-seong's blast proved to be the game-winning home run.

Kim Ha-seong's season batting average is now .228 (21 hits in 91 at-bats).

Kim Ha-seong also shone defensively.

In the bottom of the 7th inning, with one out, he deftly avoided left fielder White, who wasn't communicating on a fly ball hit by Carlos Santana, and made the catch.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye-seong (26, Los Angeles Dodgers) appeared as a pinch hitter in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went 0-for-1.

Kim Hye-seong's season batting average dropped slightly to .302 (42 hits in 139 at-bats).

He was activated from the injured list yesterday after being sidelined with a shoulder injury. After scoring a run as a pinch runner yesterday, he stepped into the batter's box for the first time since his return today.

Kim Hye-seong led off the 9th inning but lined out to center field.

The Dodgers, who were held to only five scattered hits by the Pittsburgh pitching staff, lost 0-3, extending their losing streak to two games.
