Tom Homman, the head of border security under the Donald Trump administration (also known as the Border Czar), warned on the 7th (local time) that the public would see more enforcement actions like the large-scale raids and arrests at a construction site of a Korean company in Georgia recently.

In an interview with an American cable channel on the same day, Homman responded with a brief "Yes" when asked if there would be more similar large-scale crackdowns following the enforcement action on the 4th at the Hyundai Motor-LG Energy Solution battery plant construction site in Georgia, which resulted in the arrest of 475 individuals, including about 300 Koreans, for illegal entry and employment.

Homman further emphasized that illegal entry without proper visas and the employment of undocumented immigrants are crimes, stating, "We will be doing many more site enforcement actions."

Homman specifically stressed that companies employing undocumented immigrants at low wages gain an unfair competitive advantage by cutting costs in an improper manner.

This statement is interpreted as clarifying that the enforcement action at the Korean company's site was not only an action against undocumented immigrants but also a check on foreign companies that employ undocumented foreign workers at low wages.
