Song Eon-seok, floor leader of the People Power Party, criticized Democratic Party leader Jung Cheong-rae on the 10th for emphasizing "liquidation of rebellion" and raising the issue of constitutional court review for parties, stating, "They are trying to establish a one-party dictatorship of destroying the opposition party and annihilating conservatives by framing it with their patented 'rebellion party' narrative."

In his keynote speech at the regular National Assembly session on the same day, Song stated, "The ruling party leader frequently utters 'dissolution' and threatens and insults the opposition party, engaging in anti-intellectual verbal abuse."

He added, "They must stop their governance, which is hypocritical and deceptive, professing cooperation while being absorbed in destroying the opposition party," and urged President Lee Jae-myung and Representative Jung to "put down the hammer they are holding."

Regarding the agreement to form a consultative body for people's livelihoods between the ruling and opposition parties at the meeting between President Lee and the leaders of the ruling and opposition parties on the 8th, he emphasized, "What remains is implementation, and the People Power Party is ready to cooperate. The choice rests with the ruling party."

He further reiterated, "The current state of the National Assembly is filled with the unilateral recklessness of the ruling party, leveraging its majority, and the tyranny of parliamentary dictatorship. They must halt the reckless rampage of one-party dictatorship and cease the politics of incitement and coercion that lead to endless partisan strife."

He questioned, "Power slips away faster than sand when held too tightly. Once intoxicated by the sweetness of power, the unimpeded fall begins. Why are they accelerating towards a cliff of self-destruction?"

Song then evaluated the first 100 days of the Lee Jae-myung administration as "chaotic and misruled" (昏庸無道 - a foolish and incompetent ruler throws the world into disarray), claiming, "In the midst of the ruling party's reckless rampage that destroys cooperation, there is only the suppression of the opposition party and political revenge pushed forward by political special prosecutors."

He also criticized, "The economy and people's livelihoods are collapsing due to various anti-business and anti-market policies that hinder investment and steal jobs. National security is being dismantled by a humiliatingly submissive North Korea policy obsessed with illusions."

Regarding the revised bill for the "Three Special Prosecutor Bills (Rebellion, Kim Keon-hee, Deceased Marine)," he stated, "Political special prosecutors have already been reduced to tools of political revenge, and the suppression of the opposition party is endless. We will resolutely fight against the legislative rampage that tramples on the opposition party and the political revenge that destroys democracy."

He questioned the Democratic Party's push to establish a "Special Court for Rebellion," asking, "How is it different from a people's court? If so, they should shed the guise of hypocrisy called 'democracy' and change their party name to 'Solo Dictatorship Party'."

Regarding prosecutorial reform, he urged again, "Does it make sense to push forward significant legislation at a 'hurry-hurry' speed without any agreement between the ruling and opposition parties, social deliberation, or public consent? We should form a 'Special Committee for Judicial Reform' in the National Assembly and discuss prosecutorial reform."

He also stated, "The South Korea-U.S. summit held on the 28th of last month was an empty meeting with no gains. About 300 of our workers at a Korean factory in Georgia, the United States, were dragged away in handcuffs and chains. It is not the time to sing embarrassing praises for 'President Yoon'."

He urged, "We need a dignified and effective North Korea policy. We must not repeat the mistakes of the Moon Jae-in administration and abandon the humiliating submissiveness that has abandoned national dignity and self-respect."

Song evaluated the government's budget bill for next year as "financial immorality that plunders future generations who must repay national debt." He proposed, "We propose the introduction of a 'zero-base budgeting system' that re-evaluates the budget needs of all government fiscal projects from scratch, and let's form a 'Special Committee for Fiscal Reform of the Ruling and Opposition Parties'."

He criticized the "Yellow Envelope Act" and the "Stronger Commercial Act amendments" passed by the National Assembly last month as "business guillotine laws that tell businesses not to operate in Korea." Regarding the "Broadcast Three Acts," he said, "They should be repealed, and a special committee for legislation of public broadcasting by the ruling and opposition parties should be formed to start discussions on broadcasting reform from scratch."
