Chung Cheong-rae: "An unprecedented reckless remark from the People Power Party during yesterday's speech... Are you a second No Sang-won?"

On the 10th, Democratic Party Representative Chung Cheong-rae addressed the People Power Party, stating, "I hope you do not take lightly my earnest advice to sever ties with insurrectionist forces."

At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Representative Chung remarked, "During (yesterday's) representative speech, I earnestly requested that the People Power Party escape the swamp of insurrection."

He questioned, "Former People Power Party floor leader Choo Kyung-ho is currently under investigation by a special prosecutor for insurrection due to allegations of obstructing the vote during the December 3rd martial law declaration. If, on top of 'Yoon Suk-yeol being the head suspect of the insurrection,' Representative Choo is indicted and convicted as a key participant in the insurrection, can the People Power Party ever shake off the stigma of being an 'insurrection party'?"

In particular, Representative Chung played a clip from the previous day's speech and stated, "There was an unprecedented reckless remark (from a People Power Party lawmaker) during yesterday's speech."

In the video, when Representative Chung stated, "If the 'No Sang-won notebook' had been successfully realized, neither President Lee Jae-myung nor I would be alive today," a voice from the People Power Party section of the National Assembly plenary hall was heard saying, "I wish that had actually happened."

Representative Chung urged, "Who are you? Are you a second No Sang-won?" and added, "I am looking for the owner of this voice. I demand you turn yourself in and apologize."
