Foreign nationals who mocked the assassination of Charlie Kirk (31), a prominent figure in conservative youth activism and a young leader in the 'MAGA (Make America Great Again)' movement, are likely to face disadvantages when entering the United States.

As the United States intends to scrutinize such individuals, there is speculation that unprecedented and stringent sanctions, including entry bans, could follow if the matter is deemed serious.

In a social media post on the 11th (local time), Chris Lando, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, stated, "I want to emphasize that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred in connection with the tragic assassination of a prominent political figure yesterday are not welcome visitors to the United States."

He continued, "I was deeply disturbed to see some individuals on social media praising, rationalizing, or trivializing this incident," and added, "I have instructed our consular staff to take appropriate action."

He further urged, "Please report any such posts from foreigners to me at any time," adding, "We will be able to protect American citizens (by denying entry to these individuals)."

Laura Loomer, another influencer in the MAGA movement, retweeted Under Secretary Lando's post and announced, "The State Department has requested reports of foreigners residing in the U.S. who glorify political violence and are rejoicing in the assassination of Charlie Kirk."

She urged, "Every instance of glorifying violence should be formally reported and documented," and added, "This will allow us to remove violent individuals among foreigners who hold visas to the United States."

Previously, Kirk, the founder of 'Turning Point USA,' was shot and killed on the 10th during a university event in Utah, United States. President Donald Trump announced Kirk's attack on Truth Social, mourning his death by saying, "The great and legendary Charlie Kirk has died."
