People Power Party lawmaker Na Kyung-won protested on the 13th after the Democratic Party of Korea first agreed to her appointment as the opposition party's floor leader for the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, then reneged, asking, "Is this a government of 'Gae-ttal' (hardcore supporters of the Democratic Party) sovereignty?"

Na stated this on Facebook that day, saying, "The Democratic Party, swayed by the threats of 'Gae-ttal,' flips even bipartisan agreements as easily as turning a hand, and after undermining floor leader Kim Byung-ki, is now looking to 'Gae-ttal' eyes for the selection of Na Kyung-won as the Legislation and Judiciary Committee floor leader. If this continues, the People Power Party's leader and floor leader will also be chosen by 'Gae-ttal' and the Democratic Party."

Earlier, the Democratic Party had agreed on the 10th to amend the special prosecutor bill revision and receive cooperation for the processing of the Government Organization Act. In conjunction with this, they also agreed to cooperate on the issue of appointing Na, whom the People Power Party had nominated, as the opposition party's floor leader for the Legislation and Judiciary Committee.

However, the Democratic Party broke this agreement on the 11th. Deputy Floor Leader Moon Jin-seok stated that day, "While his trial for the 'crowbar incident' is problematic, calling the Democratic Party a party of rebellion without repentance or apology makes him an anti-constitutional politician," expressing opposition to Na's appointment as floor leader.

In response, Na argued, "The crowbar was held by the Democratic Party and the National Assembly Security Service to try to break down the National Assembly doors." She retorted, "It is you who are the anti-constitutional politicians, deceiving the public with accusations of rebellion solely for your political gain and demeaning those who opposed impeachment."
