Jung Chung-rae: "Cho, Ji, and the Prosecution are the entities of reactionary resistance to reform... We will advance without yielding."
"If we leave room for a counterattack, they will revive; we must hold them accountable to the end... Judicial reform plans will also be announced without setbacks."
"It will be difficult for the People Power Party to avoid a trial for dissolution as an unconstitutional party"... "Proposing a declaration of 'no political strife' during APEC."

On the 10th, Democratic Party Representative Jung Chung-rae criticized Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae, Judge Ji Gwi-yeon—the presiding judge in the rebellion case of former President Yoon Suk Yeol—and certain prosecutors opposing the abolition of the Prosecutors' Office, labeling them as "the entities of reactionary resistance to reform."
At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Representative Jung stated, "This reform against the rebellion must be different from previous ones; if we leave any room for a counterattack, the forces of rebellion will revive at any time. We must hold them accountable to the end and move forward without yielding to their resistance. Now is the perfect opportunity."
He emphasized, "The party, the government, and the presidential office will work as one team with one voice to kill two birds with one stone—clearing away the remnants of the rebellion and restoring the people's livelihood—and we will do our best until the public says 'OK.' As promised before the holiday, we will also announce judicial reform plans and measures to eradicate fake and fabricated information without any setbacks."
Regarding the People Power Party’s offensive concerning President Lee Jae-myung’s spouse's appearance on an entertainment program—claiming it was "inappropriate amidst the fire at the National Information Resources Service"—he retorted, "They ignore the public's anger over the three years lost due to Yoon Suk Yeol, yet they express outrage at the friendly image of President Lee as he reaches out to the people."
In particular, addressing claims by People Power Party lawmaker Joo Jin-woo and others regarding a "48-hour disappearance" of President Lee, Representative Jung launched a counterattack: "Talking about 'lost 48 hours' only reminds people of Park Geun-hye's 'lost 7 hours' and Yoon Suk Yeol's 'lost 3 years.' When you tell someone 'don't think of an elephant,' they are bound to think of an elephant."
He further pointed out, "Public sentiment desires the clearing away of the rebellion, reform, and the restoration of the people's livelihood. It seems difficult for the People Power Party, which does not follow the will of the people, to avoid a trial for dissolution as an unconstitutional party."
Regarding the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held in Gyeongju at the end of this month, he said, "If the People Power Party is truly worried about our economy and cares even a little for the Republic of Korea, I propose that we cease all political strife for the duration of the APEC summit," adding, "To ease public anxiety, I propose a pre-emptive 'No-Strife APEC Declaration'."
