The '8th 2025 Seoul International Blues Festival', Asia's largest blues music festival, will be held on the 26th at Nodeul Island Live House and Seoga Rooftop in Seoul.
According to the festival organizing committee on the 23rd, the event, themed 'The Blues Island', will showcase a variety of stages, from traditional blues to modern interpretations of the music. This year will mark the first outdoor event, allowing attendees to enjoy the autumn ambiance.
Emerging musicians such as Smoking Lee, Wednesday Off, and O Blues Band will perform on the 'Blues Rookie Stage'. Kim Jooyeop Band, Kim Daeseung Band, Jeong Jaeho Band, and Soul Train will appear on the 'Buzzing Blues Stage'.
Yosuke Ishida from Japan, Ha Heon-jin, CR Tae-gyu, and Richman & Groove Nice will perform on the 'Signature Blues Stage'.
The 'Seoul Blues Stage' will feature performances by representative blues bands. This includes Inkyu Lee Band, led by Inkyu Lee, a semi-finalist of the International Blues Challenge, Kim Mok-kyung Band, fronted by Kim Mok-kyung, a first-generation blues artist in Korea, Ikyung Chun Band, led by guitar legend Ikyung Chun, and Korea's representative blues band Choi Hang-seok and Boogie Monster.
The organizers stated, "The Seoul International Blues Festival has provided a platform for cultural exchange through music, with domestic and international blues artists participating together.
