Jang Dong-hyuk, leader of the People Power Party, said on the 31st, "Next year's local elections will be a Second Founding War and a system war. Its success or failure will be decided in Seoul."

At the Seoul City Party District Committee Chairmen and Elected Officials Workshop held at the SETEC Convention Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Leader Jang stated, "I ask you to start that fight so that we can achieve a miracle of the people where liberal South Korea triumphs through the miracle on the Han River."

He argued, "We lost the government and faced three special prosecutors. Now, those three special prosecutors are losing their power," adding, "We have almost exited the dark tunnel, and now the Democratic Party has begun to enter the tunnel of darkness."

He further emphasized, "If we unite and fight, we will surely be able to win the local elections next year."

Song Eon-seok, the floor leader, asserted, "Those who completely eradicate freedom in liberal South Korea and disregard equality before the law and the separation of powers must face divine retribution," adding, "This should not be done by simply 'praying and praying.' We must ensure they receive clear divine retribution through votes in the upcoming elections."

He then targeted Kim Hyeon-ji, the Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs of the Presidential Office, saying, "The phrase 'What is the cherished Hyeon-ji?' is circulating online. Someone whose identity, educational background, and past work are unknown is controlling everything in the Presidential Office from behind the scenes. Isn't that a hidden power broker?"

He stated, "Looking at just the real estate policies, those people are not working for the sake of South Korea and its people, but are coveting public positions for the personal gain of their own faction," adding, "The people are no longer being fooled and know everything. It is not far off. Let's work a little harder."

The workshop was attended by Bae Hyun-jin, the Seoul City Party Chairman, as well as National Assembly members from the Seoul region and district committee chairmen.
