(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Shin Jae-woo = "It is an honor to be able to be together. Here in Korea, where miracles continue."

'AI Emperor' Nvidia has released a tribute video to Korea, praising Korea's industrial development, known as the 'Miracle on the Han River,' and highlighting Korea's potential to lead the 'next industrial revolution.'

On the 31st (local time), the same day Nvidia announced the supply of 260,000 latest Blackwell graphics processing units (GPUs) to the Korean government and four domestic companies, it released a 3-minute and 16-second video titled 'Korea's Next Industrial Revolution' through its official YouTube account.

The video, narrated in Korean with English subtitles, begins with the explanation, "Republic of Korea, the nation that achieved the Miracle on the Han River. Through your determination and sacrifice, you achieved the fastest industrialization in history, going beyond mere reconstruction."

It continued, "From small workshops to large factories, you built the Korea of today. Through steel, semiconductors, electronics, ships, and automobiles, and technology, you made Korea's name known in households worldwide," introducing Korea.

The video also included various photos and video materials showcasing Korea's industrial history, from the Goesan Dam completed in 1957 to the CJ CheilJedang sugar factory, Keumseongsa founded by the LG founder, the factory in the first year of Hyundai Motor Company's establishment, and the first semiconductor developed by Samsung.

Nvidia also mentioned the immensely popular e-sports game 'StarCraft' in Korea, stating, "A new arena called PC bang was born, and Nvidia GeForce became the equipment for new players. Esports became a stage for everyone, and champions won with the aspirations of the nation."

Jensen Huang, Nvidia's CEO, expressed his gratitude to Korea during his visit on the 30th for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, saying, "The GPU, G-SYNC, and Low Latency Reflex invented by Nvidia are all thanks to esports and thanks to Korea."

The video also highlighted the global Hallyu (Korean Wave) phenomenon, evaluating, "(The world) is captivated by K-pop, K-dramas, K-beauty, and K-style, and the rising generation is soaring ever higher towards Korea's golden age."

Furthermore, it noted that amidst the advent of the AI revolution, Korea is building AI infrastructure following its semiconductor strength, praising Korea by saying, "From Samsung, Hyundai, and SK to Naver and LG, digital twins, smart robots, smart factories. From the industrial revolution to the AI revolution, Korea is creating a new future."

Nvidia concluded the video by stating, "It is an honor to be able to be together (with Korea)."

Nvidia has elevated its AI partnership with Korea to the level of an 'alliance' by agreeing to supply 260,000 GPUs, valued at up to 14 trillion won, to Korea.

In a situation where the entire world is seeking GPU supplies, it is known that Nvidia's choice of Korea was significantly influenced by Korea's robust value chain in semiconductors, manufacturing, telecommunications, gaming, and AI startups, as well as its market's ability to transfer AI infrastructure to actual industries.
