Kim Hye-seong (Los Angeles Dodgers), who contributed to the Los Angeles Dodgers' victory in the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series (WS, best-of-seven series), will return to Korea on the 6th.

Kim Hye-seong's agency stated on the 3rd, "Kim Hye-seong is scheduled to return to Korea through Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 6th."

After returning to Korea, Kim Hye-seong will attend domestic schedules and then engage in personal training to prepare for the next season.

Prior to his return, he will participate in the WS championship celebration parade in downtown Los Angeles on the 4th (Korean time) with the Dodgers team.

The Dodgers team, including Kim Hye-seong, plans to share the joy of winning the WS trophy with the citizens of Los Angeles.

MLB.com reported on the 3rd, "Last year, about 250,000 citizens filled the streets, and 42,000 baseball fans gathered at Dodger Stadium to celebrate the championship. A significant crowd is expected this year as well."

The Dodgers achieved their second consecutive championship by achieving a dramatic comeback victory of 5-4 in extra innings against the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the WS held at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on the 2nd.

The Dodgers club also shared photos of the team heading to Los Angeles with the championship trophy on their social media on the 3rd.

Japanese starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who received the Series Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, boarded the private jet holding the championship trophy aloft.

In addition, the Dodgers club shared a photo of the championship trophy placed on a seat on the airplane.

Kim Hye-seong, who entered the game as a defensive replacement in the bottom of the 11th inning of Game 7 of the WS with the score tied at 5-4, also smiled with the championship trophy on the aircraft.
