NewJeans members Haerin and Hyein are returning to ADOR.

ADOR, an entertainment agency under HYBE LABELS, announced on the 12th through an official press release, "NewJeans members Haerin and Hyein have expressed their intention to continue their activities with ADOR."

ADOR further stated, "After careful consideration with their families and extensive discussions with ADOR, both members have decided to respect the court's ruling and abide by their exclusive contracts."

They added, "ADOR will do its best to ensure Haerin and Hyein can continue their entertainment activities smoothly," and politely requested, "We kindly ask for restraint in any speculation regarding the members."

Meanwhile, NewJeans had previously requested the termination of their exclusive contracts in 2024 after HYBE, ADOR's parent company, dismissed Min Hee-jin, who was then CEO of ADOR. However, ADOR countered that there were no grounds for contract termination and filed a legal request to prohibit the members of NewJeans from pursuing solo activities.

The court ruled in favor of ADOR in the first trial held on the 30th of last month. Although NewJeans announced their intention to appeal immediately, they were unable to pursue independent activities.
