A NPK seminar will be held on the topic of 'Election Management Where the National Network Segmentation Principle Has Been Compromised.'
The Korean Law and Liberal Democracy Solidarity (NPK) announced on the 17th that it will hold a seminar on the topic of 'Election Management Where the National Network Segmentation Has Been Compromised' at the Jeongdong1928 Art Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on December 6th (Saturday) at 12:30 PM.
As the National Election Commission's (NEC) claims of 'network segmentation security' were revealed to be false during a parliamentary audit, public opinion is surging with calls to 'investigate the possibility of fraud in the last presidential and general elections.'
Lee Shin-woo, former editorial writer for The Hankook Ilbo, who will be a speaker at the seminar, stated in a recent Hankook Ilbo column, "Since the inauguration of the Lee Jae-myung administration, former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn has been facing a series of investigations, including for alleged illegal election campaigning (related to organizations and activities claiming election fraud) and for alleged incitement to rebellion, with attempts at special prosecution and seizure and searches. The current government considers the 'Anti-Election Fraud and Corruption Agency (AFCA)' as an organization that undermines the democratic election order and has stated that it will respond strictly and investigate their illegal activities according to law and principle." He added, "It is unclear who exactly is the party undermining the 'democratic election order'."
The seminar is expected to feature in-depth discussions on the loopholes in network segmentation security and the justification for investigating election fraud.
The seminar's keynote speech will be delivered by Professor Emeritus Do Kyung-gu of Hanyang University, with Dr. Jang Jae-eon, a computer science expert, and former editorial writer Lee Shin-woo participating as speakers. The session will be moderated by lawyer and NPK Director Kwon Oh-yong.
