Regarding the information that the recovery of 780 billion won in confiscation money from the Daejang-dong group has become impossible due to the abandonment of appeals, Seominwi emphasized, "This is a groundless fear that overly ignores reality, and it will become the fuse for public outrage."

Furthermore, they stressed, "If President Lee is not involved in this case and the Democratic Party has no issues, then in response to public anger, the 780 billion won pocketed by the Daejang-dong group must be recovered."

Seominwi stated, "Based on Article 368 of the Criminal Procedure Act (Prohibition of Unfavorable Modification), we will swiftly propose a special prosecutor and a special law for the recovery of Daejang-dong confiscation money with the People Power Party within this week, aiming to pass it in the plenary session of the National Assembly by the end of November. The only way to meet public sentiment is to recover the 780 billion won from Kim Man-bae (611.1 billion won), Nam Wook (101 billion won), Yoo Dong-gyun, Jeong Yeong-hak, Jeong Min-yong, etc., including the freezing of the 207 billion won confiscated by the prosecution from the Daejang-dong group."

They added, "Given that a poll conducted by Korea Information Research on the 17th asked the public whether the Presidential Office was involved in the prosecution's abandonment of the Daejang-dong case appeal, and 51.4% responded that 'the intentions of the Presidential Office were reflected,' it is undeniable that President Lee is connected to the Daejang-dong 'five musketeers,' and there are even reasonable suspicions that most of the 780 billion won in profits belongs to President Lee."

Seominwi also brought up Democratic Party leader Jeong Cheong-rae's remark, "A scared dog barks loudly," and raised objections as follows.

They continued, "Based on the fact that 'Article 7 of the Prosecutors' Office Act (Direction and Supervision of Prosecution Affairs) Paragraph 2 states that disagreement regarding the legality or legitimacy of direction and supervision can be raised,' it is not enough to label 18 prosecutors, including district prosecutors, who requested an explanation of the circumstances and legal grounds for the order to abandon the appeal, as insubordinate, but they were also called 'scared dogs barking loudly.' We wonder if they even knew the saying, 'A dog barks loudly when it encounters a thief.'"

Finally, Seominwi announced, "We have come to file this complaint to inform the public of the reckless and outrageous atrocities of those who have deceived and misled the people under the guise of the people's will, and to recover the criminals' confiscated money and return it to the 910,000 citizens of Seongnam." They warned, "If the Presidential Office, the Democratic Party, and the People Power Party are negligent in establishing a special prosecutor and a special law for confiscation recovery in revealing this case, they will face the stern judgment of the people starting tomorrow."
