 Key witnesses in the criminal trial of former President Yoon Suk-yeol at the Seoul Central District Court, who has been indicted on charges of rebellion related to the declaration of emergency martial law, are losing credibility.

During the trial, former Lieutenant General Gwak Jong-geun, who testified as a witness, is facing doubts about the credibility of his account regarding the creation of the 'Hong Jang-won Memo,' and inconsistencies have emerged between his initial statements and closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the National Intelligence Service (NIS), causing problems.

However, some lawmakers from the People Power Party and media outlets are drawing criticism for their biased remarks, unilaterally claiming that former President Yoon is trying to shift blame to his subordinates.

Amidst this, Lawyer Song Jin-ho, a member of former President Yoon's legal team, is becoming a hot topic after strongly criticizing on his Facebook feed on the 23rd, saying, "As the trial nears its conclusion, some trash lawmakers from the People Power Party who feel anxious, along with legacy media, have colluded for a full-scale offensive. They are trash XXXs worse than the Democratic Party."

Lawyer Song stated, "They are framing the president as a cowardly individual who passes blame to his subordinates and are portraying martial law as illegal while talking about a separation from the president." He sharply added, "If the People Power Party cannot self-correct internally, they should know that the People Power Party will face its end."

He also urged the People Power Party lawmakers, "Don't become a second Han Dong-hoon," and "Don't mistake the support the people give as being for you."

He further reminded them, "If martial law was illegal, then are all the citizens who trembled and protected the president with their bodies and minds on that cold day all people who condoned illegality?"

Finally, Lawyer Song concluded his post by saying, "I hope that the stated aim of gathering opinions within the party, including from senior lawmakers, is not a build-up to apologizing for martial law and creating a separation from the president."
