Rumors of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro's flight abroad are spreading. The truth remains shrouded in mystery. Posts about these rumors are appearing on the social media accounts of prominent American political and international relations influencers.

Emerald Robinson, who previously worked as a White House correspondent for the conservative American broadcaster Newsmax, announced on X (formerly Twitter) at 7:23 AM on the 30th (KST) that, "There are rumors that Maduro is prepared to flee to Turkey in a private plane."

The previous day, on the 29th at 11:46 AM (local time), an X account named 'Terror Alarm' stated, citing sources in Caracas, that the private jet is a "Falcon 900 registered in San Marino," and that "Maduro is preparing to leave for Istanbul."

The 'World Affairs' account also covered this news, but noted that the third country being considered for the escape was "Tehran, Iran," raising questions about its veracity. In conjunction with this, the 'Terror Alarm' account reported that Iran had requested the United States not to close Venezuelan airspace. The account conveyed that Iran had stated, "The closure of Venezuelan airspace is an unprecedented threat to aviation safety and a violation of international law."

Earlier, on the 29th, U.S. President Donald Trump had suggested a complete closure of airspace over and around Venezuela. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had recently warned major airlines flying over Venezuela of "potentially hazardous situations" due to the "deteriorating security situation and increased military activities within and around the country."

On the 24th of last month, the Trump administration officially designated Venezuela's 'Cartel de los Soles' (Cartel of the Suns) as a 'Foreign Terrorist Organization' (FTO), identifying Maduro as its leader, thereby escalating pressure on the Maduro regime to its highest point. Trump had also effectively declared war by stating, "We will defend by land."

On the 7th of this month, the U.S. Department of Justice doubled the reward for Maduro's arrest to $50 million (approximately 69.2 billion Korean won).

Meanwhile, while mainstream media is reporting President Trump's "stranglehold" on Maduro as an operation to crack down on drug cartels, there is an analysis suggesting that President Trump's true objective is the source code of Smartmatic (a multinational company providing electronic voting systems) and Dominion Voting Systems, held by Venezuela's National Electoral Council. This is a prominent interpretation that the operation aims to strike at the heart of the global election rigging cartel.
