You can feel the romantic atmosphere of European Christmas markets in Seoul.

The annual 'European Christmas Market' began this year on the 6th at the windswept yard and lawn of the Seongbuk-gu Office in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

The embassies of Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Georgia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Poland, Finland, and Hungary participating in this event, which runs for two days until the 7th.

The highlight of the event is the European street food and traditional European food booths such as Lángos, Szegedi Goulash, and Burek, as well as European traditional dessert booths featuring Stollen, Panettone, Honey Cake, and Gingerbread.

A Christmas market selling European specialty products such as wine, jam, cosmetics, olive oil, sauces, and honey, as well as various crafts, is also in operation.

In addition, there are various programs including European traditional music and Christmas performances, as well as Christmas craft making and photo zones.

Until last year, it was held at Seongbukcheon Stream around Hansung Univ. Station on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, but from this year onwards, the venue has been expanded to the lower reaches of Seongbukcheon Stream around Sungshin Women's University Station.

One visitor said, "The venue has become much larger by utilizing the windswept yard and lawn of the Seongbuk-gu Office. It has also become more convenient in many ways with access to amenities such as restrooms."
