Hyper Gender / By Sim Kyujin, Tunamis, 18,000 won

Professor Shim Kyu-jin, who first predicted the Yoon Suk-yeol syndrome and the emergence of the Digital Yeobidan (a group of digital patriotic volunteers), has published 'Hypergender', a new social contract theory that transcends gender conflict.
'Hypergender' stems from the problem that existing gender politics has fixed men and women into a dichotomy of 'perpetrator/victim' and 'privileged/underprivileged'.
Global politics is currently heading towards polarization, with the rise of the European New Right. Following this trend, the author connects the structural roots of gender conflict experienced by Koreans in their 20s and 30s, the debate over military service and female conscription, generational backlash against the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and quota systems, anti-China sentiment and 'Korea First' sensibilities, and the issues of meritocracy and fairness among Gen MZ into a single narrative.
'Hypergender' is an inclusive yet powerful civic identity theory based on right-wing values, and can be considered a Korean-style conservative innovation model that moves beyond gender conflict towards the future of the community.
Furthermore, the author systematically presents the political fronts necessary for the right-wing to regain the zeitgeist.
The author, Shim Kyu-jin, is an academic who researches and lectures on political and ethical consumer behavior, social media strategy, and marketing content strategy. He has a journalism background, having worked as a CJB reporter and as a news section chief at Media Daum, interviewing prominent figures such as Lee Myung-bak, Won Hee-ryong, Lee Mun-yeol, Jin Joong-kwon, and Choo Mi-ae. After attending Singapore Management University (SMU) and the University of Melbourne, he is currently an Assistant Professor of Communication and Digital Media at IE University's School of Business in Spain.
