A woman who filed a complaint against Jang Kyung-tae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, for alleged quasi-indecent assault has also taken legal action against secondary online victimization.

According to Yonhap News' comprehensive reporting on the 9th, the complainant, identified as Ms. A, filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against unknown individuals on charges of defamation and insult under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.

The targets include YouTubers and online commenters who exposed Ms. A's identity or spread false information.

The police are expected to investigate the facts after confirming the details of the complaint.
