Kirin Villa Resort, a forest resort located in the mid-mountainous area of Seogwipo, Jeju, will host a year-end event, ‘KYLIN Winter Farewell Night,’ on the night of the 31st to meaningfully conclude the year. 

This event aims to provide guests visiting the resort with a special experience to spend the final moments of 2025 warmly and enjoyably, by combining winter emotional content with experiential programs. 

The program will run from 10 PM until shortly after midnight. The first session is a campfire snack experience held at the campfire site. 

Guests will be provided with blankets and hand warmers and will have time to roast and eat seafood-shaped marshmallows themselves. The feature is the quiet atmosphere that can only be felt outdoors in winter, and safety personnel will be stationed at all times. 

Following this, from 11:10 PM, the ‘Farewell 2025’ event will take place. This is a program that reflects the recent trend in the travel industry of ‘meaning-based experiences,’ where participants write down and submit unpleasant memories from 2025 on cards, which are then incinerated in the campfire to send away the bad memories of 2025, thus concluding the past year.

After spending 2025 through the Farewell 2025 event, guests will move to the lounge for a break while waiting for the upcoming 2026. Warm beverages and Jeju tangerines will be provided, and guests can relax while watching videos on the screen. This is a section where guests can feel the calm year-end atmosphere unique to a forest resort. 

The event concludes with a countdown to midnight. One glass of champagne or a soft drink will be provided, and guests will welcome the new year together through the lounge screen. The quieter forest environment, compared to urban areas, is expected to be well-received by travelers seeking a different year-end and New Year experience.
