An increasing number of South Korean teenagers are holding virtual rallies in the popular online game Roblox, chanting slogans like "Yoon Again" to express their support for President Yoon Suk-yeol, Monarch Report reported on the 29th (local time).

Monarch Report stated, "Unlike traditional street protests led by conservative older generations, these digital rallies allow young participants to organize and mobilize safely on a platform they already frequently use. Videos of in-game marches have been widely spreading on social media since mid-November 2025."

Previously, around mid-December, left-leaning media outlets such as MBC News and Kyunghyang Shinmun reported sensationally on the same phenomenon, claiming "political propaganda and hate are rampant," "'Roblox' is being contaminated with hate and political propaganda," and "the production and re-dissemination of extreme conspiracy theories have begun not only in existing online communities but also in virtual spaces predominantly used by children and adolescents."

According to Namu Wiki, the "Yoon Again" cyber march first began on Roblox on November 16th. South Korean media outlets remained silent for about a month after the incident, but immediately after Roblox shut down the relevant map, they flooded the news, starkly revealing the political bias in their reporting.

Namu Wiki explained the background, stating that "significant restrictions have been placed on such activities" due to Lee Jae-myung's direct call for crackdowns on anti-China protests, and "to avoid these sanctions, the Yoon Again protests appear to have been conducted online, where it is relatively harder to impose restrictions."

According to Kyunghyang Shinmun, Roblox closed the "Yoon Again March Map" and similar content on the 15th. It is understood that Roblox prohibits political activities on its platform.

Roblox headquarters stated that there is a policy prohibiting "discussion or depiction of content related to political figures and organizations," adding that "(the prohibited content) includes political candidates running for or recently having run for public office and related slogans, election campaign materials, and content related to rallies or events."

The organizer, known as "Roblox Cyber March Patriotic University," claimed that the Roblox Yoon Again march is not political propaganda at all and announced another online rally. Trudale reported that an online rally was indeed held on the 19th, after the initial closure measure. On Christmas Day, the 25th, a Roblox Yoon Again rally march organized by the "Free Roblox Party Founding Preparatory Committee" was also held. The Free Roblox Party has announced it will hold a "Grand Rally" on January 3rd, 2016.

Patriotic University, through a notice, argued that "(the virtual rally) is a protest centered on the historical event of martial law being declared" and that "(according to Roblox) policies, protests, reenactments, and expressions of historical events not aimed at political propaganda or supporting a specific political faction are permitted."

Indeed, Patriotic University is known to have imitated "Freedom University," which leads anti-communist rallies and marches. This also lends credibility to the claim of "historical reenactment."

The news of teenagers holding online rallies, appearing one year after President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law, has led to analyses that anti-China sentiment and dissatisfaction with the current government are finding a new outlet for support for President Yoon among Gen Z.

Monarch Report analyzed, "Observing these trends is important because it shows how the political consciousness of South Korean youth is changing. In South Korea, online spaces have become arenas of ideology from a younger age, influencing the inclinations of future voters and civic participation."

Amidst various controversies, one thing is clear: "Yoon Again" has become a cultural phenomenon, a massive trend that has spread even to teenagers.
