  • The Free Democratic Solidarity Union Presents National Crisis Response Strategies Through a 1-Night, 2-Day New Year Seminar

 

The Federation for Free Democracy (FFD) will hold the '2026 FFD New Year's Greetings Seminar'.

 

The FFD announced that this seminar, aimed at diagnosing the crisis facing the liberal democratic system of the Republic of Korea and exploring the roles of citizens and youth for 2026, will be held for two days and one night from 2 PM on the 8th to 2 PM on the 9th at the Sangju International Equestrian Center in Sangju City, Gyeongbuk Province.

 

This event is designed to ask what choices the people should make amidst a systemic crisis for the nation, centered on the question, "What is our role?".

 

The FFD stated that as the liberal democratic order is being shaken across politics and society, it is time for citizens and youth to proactively seek response strategies.

 

The seminar will broadly discuss response strategies in various areas such as elections, institutional politics, local organizations, and online platforms, moving beyond existing rallies and street-based activities. In particular, the primary agenda will be how civil society and the youth generation will unite and act in 2026.

 

The seminar topics are: △ Joo Ok-soon, Co-Representative of FFD, '2026 Patriotic Movement, The Role of Women' △ Kim Sang-soon, Co-Representative of FFD, '2026 Patriotic Movement, New Hybrid Strategy' △ Dr. Jang Jae-eon, 'The Reality of Election Fraud and the Resolve of the 2026 Patriotic Movement' △ Professor Ha Bong-kyu, 'A Nation of Intellect: The Future Vision of Korea' △ Professor Lee Ju-cheon, 'The Historical Mission of Korean Women Amidst the Total Crisis of the Republic of Korea' △ Professor Kim Sung-hee, 'What is the Far-Right? Dynamic Far-Right Conservative' △ Heo Soo, Youth Speaker (Team Leader, FFD International Strategy Team), 'Planning the 2026 IPACA (Indo-Pacific Anti Communism Alliance) Conference' △ Dr. Yoo, Youth Speaker (Team Leader, FFD Strategic Planning Team), 'Discourse Dominance Strategy for Winning Before Fighting'.

 

This event is a joint initiative of civic and youth organizations, with participation from: △ East Asia Peace Research Institute △ Seongwoohoe △ FLD △ Chopa-dan △ IPACA △ Hwarang-dan (Seoul) △ B:RIGHT (Busan) △ DPYU (Daejeon) △ Kkukkujini (Jeju) △ CJYP (Cheongju) △ SYFF (Sejong) △ Dike-dan (Suwon·Cheonan).

 

The FFD stated, "This New Year's seminar is an opportunity to share the sense of issue and direction of action for civil society to defend the liberal democratic system in 2026," and "We look forward to the active participation of interested citizens and youth."
