This support was prepared to help SMEs overcome crises amidst economic uncertainties and to foster innovative growth by enhancing the competitiveness of exporting companies.

Previously, Hana Bank contributed 31.1 billion won in the first half of this year, providing 1.2702 trillion won in financial support. With an additional special contribution of 10.7 billion won in the second half, it plans to sign individual agreements with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation to offer preferential guarantee ratios (over 90%) and support guarantee fees.

Through this initiative, Hana Bank plans to provide 420 billion won in financial support targeting promising SMEs with technological capabilities and growth potential.

Lee Ho-sung, CEO of Hana Bank, stated, "We hope this financial support will be of practical help to SMEs struggling with the economic downturn," and added, "Hana Bank will continue to provide all possible support to enable SMEs to lead the recovery of the real economy as a driving force for economic growth."

Meanwhile, Hana Bank is operating the "Special Program for Reducing Financial Costs for Small and Medium-sized Corporations" to alleviate financial burdens for SMEs facing anticipated difficulties such as revenue decline due to the worsening economy. This program offers practical financial benefits, such as reducing interest rates on loans for SMEs exceeding 5% down to 5% (with a maximum reduction of 2%P), thereby easing the interest burden for struggling SMEs.
