Rally at Seoul Station on the 14th ⒸHanmiilbo

Civil society groups, including Seobeokkka (led by Jang Jae-eon), delivered an open letter to the opposition party leaders at a rally held at Seoul Station on the 14th.

On this day, former MBC reporter Lee Sang-ro demanded official answers regarding election fraud allegations related to "brick ballots" from △Jang Dong-hyuk, leader of the People Power Party △Ko Young-joo, lawyer and former leader of the Liberty Democratic Party △Cho Won-jin, leader of the Our Republican Party.

In a certified letter sent to Leader Jang Dong-hyuk regarding his signature issue of "brick ballots," Reporter Lee Sang-ro asked, "First, do you believe brick ballots are legitimate ballots? Second, do you believe Lee Jae-myung is a fake elected through fraudulent elections, or a true president chosen by the people through fair elections? Third, if you believe Lee Jae-myung is a fake, do you intend to advocate for him to step down from his position?"

He also posed sensitive questions directed at Jang Dong-hyuk himself.

"You stated during last year's party leadership race that you would eradicate fraudulent elections if you became party leader. However, since taking office as party leader, you have not once spoken about fraudulent elections. Therefore, people are raising the possibility that Jang Dong-hyuk may also have been involved in fraudulent elections. What are your views on this?"

He then asked Leader Jang if he had ever heard the term "entchupados," stating, "While Jang Dong-hyuk's supporters might be offended, a reporter must ask precise questions. We cannot entrust the fate of the Republic of Korea to a brick seller."

"Brick ballots" refer to stacks of ballots that are stiff and neatly bundled like new banknotes found at the scene of a recount.

Reporter Lee Sang-ro asked lawyer Ko Young-joo, "What is the reason for not demanding an investigation into fraudulent elections since the party's inception?" He also demanded that Leader Cho Won-jin explain, "Why do you advocate for the abolition of early voting yet fail to take a clear stance on allegations of election manipulation?"

Jang Jae-eon, leader of Seobeokkka (and former Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oregon), raised suspicions of external ballot introduction regarding the Seoul Superintendent of Education election of Jeong Geun-sik, stating, "The phenomenon of candidate Cho Jeon-hyuk losing 180,000 votes in early voting despite winning 100,000 more votes in the main election is statistically impossible and anomalous."

Following the "End Fraudulent Elections Debate" held on the 27th of last month, Hanmiilbo has been planning and reporting on a "Special Feature on Fraudulent Elections," including topics such as △folded ballots in stacks △ballots missing from recount sites △197-year-old voter △brick ballots △and suspicions of seal replacement, as public interest in fraudulent elections has grown.

Meanwhile, next week's Seobeokkka rally at Seoul Station is expected to be larger and more grand, with the participation of youth groups such as △Mincho Gyesadae △FLD △and Myeolgon-dan. The march route has been changed to Myeongdong Station to Seoul Station due to BTS's comeback performance.
