Iran's state broadcaster announced on the 21st (local time) that it had launched a missile attack on Israel's Dimona city, where its nuclear facilities are located.

It reported that the missile attack targeting the Dimona region was in retaliation for the attack on its Natanz nuclear complex.

Earlier that evening, a ballistic missile fell in Dimona, resulting in at least 39 casualties.

The Israeli military is investigating the circumstances surrounding the failure to intercept the Iranian ballistic missile, which caused dozens of injuries and significant property damage.

According to military authorities, air defense systems were activated at the time and responded to the ballistic missile, but the interceptor missile failed to shoot down the target.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated that although there were reports of projectiles falling in Dimona, no signs of damage to the Negev Nuclear Research Center in the area have been received.

The IAEA also conveyed, citing local authorities, that no abnormal radiation levels have been detected since the incident.

Earlier, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran confirmed in a statement this morning that "this morning, the Natanz enrichment facility was targeted by an attack," and stated, "No leakage of radioactive material has been reported."
