On this day, the areas around the Yeouido Full Gospel Church and the National Assembly Building were bustling with crowds enjoying the flowers. 

This event, which has been held since 2005, will continue until the 7th along the Yeseo-ro cherry blossom road and the Han River Park. 

Meanwhile, the Korea Meteorological Administration officially announced on the 29th of last month that cherry blossoms had bloomed in Seoul. This year's cherry blossoms in Seoul bloomed six days earlier than last year (April 4th) and ten days earlier than the average year (April 8th).
