  • On the 22nd, Bae Hyun-jin held the '12th Political Outcast Rally' in Jamsil, her constituency.
  • Location changed from Samjeon Station to near Jamsilsaenae Station, 3km march

The Freedom Korea Homeland Group, having recently filed a complaint against Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the People Power Party, for alleged violations of the Political Funds Act, will hold a protest rally in her constituency this coming Wednesday, the 22nd.

Civil society groups, including the Freedom Korea Homeland Group, △Voters' Revolution, △ROTC Patriot Comrades Association of Korea, △Dr. Cucumber, △Central High School Patriot Comrades Association, △Actionable Free Citizens, and △Youth Forum Begin, announced that they will hold the “12th Rally to Oust National Assembly Member Bae Hyun-jin from Politics” on Wednesday, the 22nd, at 11:30 AM in Songpa District, Bae Hyun-jin's constituency.

This rally, under the slogan "Politics of betrayal without principles or conviction," expresses strong dissatisfaction with various suspicions surrounding Representative Bae and her political activities.

The rally was initially planned to be held near Samjeon Station, but the organizers changed the venue to in front of Exit 7 of Jamsilsaenae Station (Subway Line 2), considering effective communication of their message and the expected number of participants.

Participants in the rally are scheduled to gather at Jamsilsaenae Station on the morning of the event, hold a protest rally, and then march approximately 3 km through the surrounding constituency area to urge citizens to call for Representative Bae's resignation and expulsion from politics.

Recently, Representative Bae has been facing political challenges, including being reported to the police on charges of illegally receiving political funds under the guise of party chapter operating expenses. This rally is also being held as an extension of these allegations, and attention is focused on the direction of public sentiment in the constituency.

Oh Sang-jong, representative of the Freedom Korea Homeland Group, who is leading the rally, stated, "Politicians who have betrayed the trust of the people no longer have the right to represent their constituencies," and added, "We will continue the rallies until Representative Bae makes a responsible decision along with a thorough investigation."

The rally to protest Bae Hyun-jin is held every Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the same location.
